Ending promotion on item

Hi

I have priority promotion on an item, but I want to stop the promotion. When I go into the item, and select 'edit promoted listing', the option comes up to toggle the promotion off - but when I do, I cannot apply the changes, and so the promotion remains. I exit out, then come back in, and the promotion is still toggle on. Any ideas?

What sort of promotion?

The standard promotions offered on the listing form just require the off/on to be edited.
