Electrical item faulty - Seller deleted - Ebay not interested

Hi,

Sorry if this has been discussed before

Bought electrical item 10 months ago.  Item has failed.  Tried to contact seller, seller is no longer with ebay.

Phoned Ebay - they are not inteested.  They say its outside of 30 day period.

Asked to complain, lady siad she will process my complaint but will not send me confirmation or feedback from out come.

Pretty dissappointed - does this sound reasonable? any ideas what to do next?

Sorry, looks like you are out of luck.

Ebay MBG is only for 30 days, after that it is between you and seller.

Payment provider won't help after 10 months either.

If UK business seller & still trading (you can google them), then your only hope is https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/

This is the first issue ive had after 23 years on ebay - and ive bought some high value items in the past.  I dont think I will risk that again - its too easy for sellers to dissappear
