Domestic and International options confusion

Sorry if this has been asked before.

When listing an item under ‘Preferences’ there is a drop down box marked  ‘Excluded locations (optional)’ where they are number of Domestic and International options.

Does altering these locations affect the International Shipping if that has been set to ‘on’

Or does it affect the locations in the GSP should that be set to ‘on’

Reason for asking is I want to use the GSP but not use International Shipping

Your question is confusing.  (Maybe it's just me!)

If you exclude locations, then bidders from those countries won't be able to buy from you.  However, if you plan to use GSP (Ebay's Global Shipping Programme) then you don't really need to exclude any locations.

When you use GSP, you post to a UK address provided by Ebay (Pitney Bowes) and then they are responsible for the online postage - collecting the cost, completing customs forms and sending the item on - so you will only send to that UK address.  

What confused me was you stating you didn't want to use 'International Shipping'.  GSP is international shipping but you only post the item within the UK.

 When you list something under Postage Options it says International postage

I don't want to do that so I turn that off

 

But I do want to use the GSP but that's where I'm confused, because under ‘Preferences’ there is a drop down box marked  ‘Excluded locations (optional)’ where they are number of Domestic and International options.

Under the GSP does that affect the countries that will see my listing?
