Dispatch an item as more than one package

I have 21 annual manuals as a complete set with accompanying DVD's to be sold as a complete set. Each manual weighs about 1 kg so total package would be about 21 kg plus the weight of the DVD's.

Can I split the despatch into two or more packages? Can I enter more than one tracking code if I send with Evri or Parcelforce?

You can't add the same tracking number twice.     You could find a courier that will take the whole lot and opt out of Simple Delivery during the listing or revising process so you can select your own courier.     The opt-out for large items is not working as it should at the moment but see the info and rick's solution on here:

Or list them separately.

Dispatch an item as more than one package

Dear peaseblossom

Thank you for your advice. I had hoped that if I had a different
tracking number for each package I would be able to enter them all.
Clearly that is not the case. I am sure in the past before simple
despatch was introduced I saw something about two or more packages?

When I investigated oversized packages for a pair of skis I think
Parcelforce would have been able to take them and I think I was able to
change the postage cost ebay gave as 'from'.

The only other option is to split the books into two as part ! and part
2 and put all the pictures up cross referencing the two listings. A bit
of a Heath Robinson approach but needs must if there is no other option.

Kind regards

Ian

Dispatch an item as more than one package

I have just tried to see if I could have Parcelforce as an option for another listing I have in draft and the answer is the only options provided are Royal Mail and Evri and maximum weight is in both cases 20kg. Its a new restriction that ebay have applied because one cannot change the despatch cost given by ebay. No use visiting a Post Office to find out what the cost of a slightly heavier parcel than 20kg might be but then if the option was Parcelforce would ebay recognise that it was a Parcelforce tracking number?

I now think the only option is to  divide the set of annual manuals into two and list as part I and part II of a set with a reference to the listing of the other part of the set.
