Demand for a refund

Hello from nopow_92. I have just received a demand to give member a full refund for a blood pressure machine I sold this person, sometime last year. He or she states it was the first week in December 2024. I can't find a slot on my stats page to confirm this. (the date that is, not the sale). I do remember that no review was given by this member after the sale. The unit was fully operational at the time of sale. I am not, as my stats confirm, a seller of "Duff" items, and go to great lengths to maintain my reputation. Could you please advise me as what I should do regarding this matter. Many Thanks.

Demand for a refund

Buyers can only get a return via eBay or PayPal if they report a problem within 30 days, so your buyer can't claim from eBay, nor can they claim from PayPal, who also have a 30 day claim window.

If they funded the payment with a debit or credit card they have 120 days to issue a chargeback via their card provider, and it looks like they're past that now.

So, you can safely message them back and let them know that they've had the item since the beginning of December, and you are unable to do anything now that four months have passed as there were no problems with it when it was sold.

Add them to your blocked buyers list here:
