I had a delivery of three sunglass holders, not a high value items, but its the principal.
The Evri driver took a photo of standing outside my office steps behind the railing on a Friday after the office was shut as proof of delivery , clearly as he did not want to come back when the office was open on Monday. He then threw the parcel over the railings so they were lying on the steps down to my office. I have a video of him doing tis which i have offered to the sellers, that evening some random people walk past the office and one of them climbs over the fence and rips the parcel open and take the contents, again i have a video of this happening.
The seller claims the deliver company have say the item has been delivered safely, i have sent them photo evidence and have left it in a safe location, i raised a complaint through eBay which i seemed to be talking to machine as the seller as they never took note of any of the information. It s now been closed by eBay as the seller has proved delivery, surely taking pictures standing outside locked gates and locked premises is not proof of delivery, especially when i have the video evidence. The deliver drivers have just starting doing this in the last few weeks and if every time my items get stolen with no redress in point in buying through ebay. I complained to Evri but have not heard back from them either, what can i do
