The option to upload a different tracking number (when a Simple Delivery label has not been used) is no longer available.   You can message your buyer with the tracking details.   If necessary you would be able to add the new number to an "Item not received" case if one was opened.   Payment may be held for 14 days.

If the buyer paid for the original label the cost will be automatically refunded to them in 30 days.   Or if you paid for it (ie. free postage on your listing) you can cancel it here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller

eBay's Simple Delivery postage is tracked and covers items for loss and damage in transit for up to £750.

So basically just wait 14 days until payment is available ?

I asked the royal mail assistant when i printed the prepaid slip and they
said it was only covered up to £75 thats why i changed it and sent it
special delivery, i have already refunded the customer the delivery fee for
the simple delivery

Thanks
