Delayed IES

Morning. I purchased an item being posted from the US to the UK. It was sent on May 1st and and still yet to leave the US, taking 18 days to even reach their hub in Illinois, where it's been sat ever since. Another item I purchase on May 12th has passed through the hub and is on its way - this item was also delivered to the hub at the exact same time on the exact same day.

Would I have a claim against ebay for a refund of shipping seeing as it's their delivery partners that are being useless? I don't want to claim against the seller as it's not his fault, he sent it in good time. It's USPS and the hub that are failing to get things done.

Delayed IES

All you can do is open a not received case as soon as past the estimated delivery date.

If you do not do this and it ends up as lost then you lose, as no one will refund you.

Only if seller is using the equivalent of global shipping  where delivery to the hub is all seller needs, and ebay is then landed with having make the refund.

If the seller is not using GSP, then they would have to refund, and then claim on the shipping company.
