Combined postage on simple delivery on buy it now goods

I am private seller.  I have just had a buyer asking the cost of five items if sent altogether.  This used to be easy but last week I had a buyer who bought seven items.  Ebay grouped four of them as combined, then two of them, and then one.  How can I ensure she could get combined on all five items?  Is there some magic way please?  Why would Ebay not automatically group all of them?  Thanks

eBay haven't perfected combining postage and Simple Delivery.   It just doesn't seem to work well.   Best thing is to relist all items into one listing and one postage for your buyer to buy.   Get buyer to confirm they want them first of course.
