Hi, I posted a jacket to the buyer which was delivered on Thursday. I received a message today (Saturday) that the parcel contained some make up. I used ebay postage (through evri) and I really can't afford to lose £100. Obviously it's been swapped in transit but trying to contact a human being on ebay is a joke.
Any ideas on what I can do?
I know I'll have to refund the buyer but can I claim it back?
Thanks

It is probably too late to get a callback tonight from Ebay - try the link tomorrow morning after 9am to speak to a person.

You used Simple Delivery so the buyer paid Ebay for the postage.
Usually, you would have to refund the buyer when they opened an 'item not as described' case and then tried to get a refund from Evri.
However, in this case, you did not buy the postage so, being completely honest, I have no idea what you need to do.
Speak to Ebay tomorrow for advice.

You are welcome.
It would be great if you could return to this thread and say what the outcome is.
This will certainly not be the last time a seller has the same issue as you.
