Buyer not completing purchace

My car was placed on your eBay site it sold and the buyer contacted me to make arrangements to collect it but neglected to complete the purchase I think eBay should take a deposit at point of sale to at least cover the cost of the placing of the advert .

Firstly,  we are members like yourself so you are not talking to anyone from eBay here.

Cars are the one thing not protected by eBay's 30 day MBG, and they could never enforce the taking of any deposit.

Non sales happen , it's a pain I cannot disagree,  but nothing to enforce a completion after purchase.

If you do wish to relist do so in a Classified format, most will agree the benefits outweigh listing in any other format on eBay.
