Buyer made a return request, i accepted and then ebay issues a full refund without return?

Hi,

i just got a return request from a buyer and i accepted it. I accepted specifically for ebay to issue a RETURN (not a refund)

For some reason, ebay then immediately refunded it all and closed the case so the buyer doesnt have to return the item to me.

What is going on???

Once a return request has been accepted by the seller, you send the buyer a prepaid return label within 3 business days or the buyer can escalate the request and ebay will take over and refund the buyer without requiring them to return the item

It said the buyer pays for the return label, the buyer said that they tried to but ebay wouldnt let them. I only accepted the return request today
