Are you sure it's a bid and not an offer?
I am not sure how you would know you had a bid unless it was showing on your listing.
Offers are different in that you have to accept them or decline them.
If you accept an offer, the item remains live until you accept the offer and the buyer pays.
An offer won't show in your 'bids received'.
