Does the name you are registered on Ebay with exactly match the name on your bank account?

Title, names and middle initial all have to be exactly the same.

It can be tricky to get your bank account set up but, to answer your question, most people do get paid correctly and promptly.

Otherwise, Ebay wouldn't have any sellers!

You won't get many sales with your title.

You need to put a better description or buyers will ignore you.

Also take pic of actual item, yours look like stock photos.

My bank has acknowledged everything, it is EBAY that falls over when I select the "I am the account holder" etc tab

As advised by @jckl1957  - the bank account holder name that you're putting in for bank details must exactly match that of the account holder.

Also, are you using an eBay recognised bank?

What does the error message say, exactly?

Bank account verification does not work

I have finally found out what this problem was.  My only complaint is that I had to use an online search to find a method to reach a phone number to reach an agent. This worked but the first call back just stopped talking and after ten minutes waiting, so I cut the call. I returned the call and spoke to a very helpful agent and between us we resolved the problem. I buy stuff for my business, home and hobby using one identity and Ebay business account. I claim the cost of legitimate business purchases through my company accounting. I use my personal banking as the value of the goods is usually very low and can be included as petty cash purchases unless the supplier is UK VAT registered when I print an invoice, I have never sold anything on this account. So, I use my personal banking so I dont clutter up my business banking with multiple Ebay purchases that may not be VAT registered. I am involved with motorcycle sport and had a lot of spare parts that I wanted to get rid of. As these are my personal possessions and not to be covered by the warranties etc provided by Ebay for business accounts, I set up another Ebay account for selling my spares as a private seller. This is where the problem lay. I was using the same bank account detail already listed on my business account as my personal account. We had to make some security checks via a code sent to my mobile number listed and some personal details but once we got that sorted the problem was resolved. You can use one bank account for multiple Ebay accounts but only they can do it apparently. The lessons are: - There will be a reason for you not being able to verify your bank details, check if you have more than one historic account with Ebay. The link to speak to agent simply does not work from the help / contact us tab, this may be a time difference, I dont know, it does not function. I used Google Gemini AI to find a method of contacting them. The Ebay AI help is less than helpful and directs you around in circles, it needs a lot of work or at least an explanation of why the agent does NOT call within the allotted time frame, this maybe simply your location (UK) if US based, there is a massive time difference - SHOW IT.  You should still keep on with the admin of your sale (postage etc) as long as the item has been paid for, your dispute is between you and Ebay, not between you and the purchaser. Hope this helps, I actually found I had set up three Ebay accounts, two I knew about, one I had forgotten I had set up. All resolved now
