Asked To Delay Posting For 7 Days

Hi,

I've just sold an item and the customer has asked me to wait 7 days to post as they're moving home.

I typically dispatch items same.day, or within 24 hours at least.

If I keep this item as sold but don't dispatch for over a week, will I lose the "2-3 day delivery" badge I have on my listings?

You may end up with a late delivery defect, which can be quite damaging to a private seller account.

It's a bit naughty of the buyer, they really should have asked about this before bidding/buying.

I'd let them know that eBay requires you to send their item out promptly, so the best way forward is to cancel the order (select problem with buyers address as the reason) and then relist it for them in a week.
