Age verification

I don't have a credit card,  but have bought on ebay for years, went to pay for a spears repair chainsaw today, age verification notice cam up! Never had this before! It said a visa card is not acceptable as a age verification! So now I can't pay for it, and I'm now 60, asking to speak to customer services today doesn't exist so now I'm lost on this.

There are certain items you cannot buy on ebay without a credit card.

Are their any other ways on ebay I could use to verify my age.

No.

You could get somebody else with a credit card to buy the item for you.

An ordinary Visa card can be held by young people under 18 so Ebay insist that sellers only accept a credit card as proof of age.

It is annoying but that is the rule on this site.
