Why am I being charged VAT by eBay when I sell secondhand parts
If you are paying VAT [and see @red_magpie ] it is because potentially all supplies are subject to VAT unless zero rated such as food and books ...
Just because they are secondhand does not exclude VAT

Are you sure you're not just seeing the VAT that is payable on eBay's fees?
