unable to delete from watch list

This problem persists.  Users are unable to delete items from the Watch List using the Delete function within each listed item description box whatever eBay site, e.g. ebay.com, .uk, .fr, .etc., nor the browser used - I have tried 4.  So, eBay, please get your finger out and sort this issue for the many users suffering from ever-expanding Watch Lists.

There is a way to manage SOME Watch List listings.  If an item is still current (i.e. has not yet reached its closing date or, for BIN, is not listed as out of stock), if you open the page for the item concerned, re-apply 'Watch this item' and then immediately apply 'REMOVE' when the 'watched' confirmation bar appears, the item will disappear from the Watch List.

Hello Robert,

Unfortunately,   you are not talking to anyone from eBay here,  they do not visit these boards,  we are all members here like yourself.

Agree totally,  this tech problem has been going on far too long.

However,  it does not seem to be affecting all devices / browsers.  I am using the Seller Hub page,  on a laptop using Chrome and have not been affected.  If you can, maybe try that combo just to manage the Watch List,  see if that may help in the interim,  the seemingly  very l o n g interim!

Thanks, Tressygirl. I'm surprised that eBay might not be looking at matters raised here. To me, that is dereliction of duty. Having worked in IT I know that to rely upon programmers to spot issues which do not result in a total collapse of a system is a hit and miss (usually miss) affair. Anyway, by chance I found another way of editing out items from the Watch List, this time covering all statuses of items. There is a small grey box to the left of each listing. Set this against one or more items, then go to the top of the Watch List page and click on DELETE. BUT.... DO NOT tick the small grey box by this Delete command, otherwise ALL Watch List items will disappear! Best regards Robert

Ebay are aware of the issues with the watch list and are supposed to be working on them 😉

We are told eBay are aware but as with many things, it's a go slow for repairs! It's not good, cannot disagree with your analysis of the matter! @robert0-mu
