seller has gone away,i have to return item

usual rubbish,ebay is uncontactable,hiding behind a endless set of of buttons 😞

i have to return an item by aug 2nd and have tried to question the address given to me, ive friends nearby and theyve checked it,an empty private house with a forsale notice in its garden,completely different to the address on the parcel when i got it,a warehouse,,hence my intitial question,still unanswered.

today i see the seller has put up a "gone away until aug 20" notice on his advert ,hes never ever replied to any of my coms to him and so im now reticent about send him back this £30 smartwatch even though its carp.

any one got any sensible ideas?..

Have you opened ebay case & been supplied label, if so use it & post item, make sure you get POP from PO.

Tracking only has to show attempted delivery, escalate to ebay a few days later.

If no case, open it now & do as above.
