removal of negative feedback

My buyer gave me negative feedback.  He had 10 days to remove this at my request (rules of ebay - 10 day window).  Today, being the 10th day, he tried to remove the feedback but we both had an ebay message to say the opportunity closed on 18 March.  Today IS the 18th March, so as he wishes to remove the negative feedback, and obviously I wish him to remove it, where do we go from here?  Can ebay give us an extensiion to the 10 day ruling?  Thankyou for any help.

At least the neg won't harm your seller performance record, eBay doesn't take any notice of feedback.

The bigger worry may be that you refunded the buyer without getting their agreement through the resolution centre. If eBay treats this as a seller-initiated cancellation you will forfeit any return of fees and receive a damaging defect on your account.

eBay use a 24-hour clock, not calendar days so the 10 days is timed to the second that the feedback revision request was issued.
