I bought an item from a seller from eBay and eBay are telling me there's nothing they can do
so you received a damaged item and sent it back for a refund and have not received a refund -
escalate the case to eBay with tracking proving delivery or attempted delivery for your refund.
If it's been more than 30 days since delivery that's ebay's deadline for claims so they wouldn't be able to help. If you used Paypal their deadline is longer at 180 days so you could try them. You can

Escalate it after 2 days and before 20 days. You can do the same with any other payment service, or if you used your credit card ring your card provider.
