I have been asked by a buyer if they win more than one item would I be willing to combine postage which I am, but don't know how to do it. If I get them to pay the full amount and then refund ebay will take there fee still. can anyone help

Tell the buyer that if they win more than 1 item they should wait for you to send them an invoice.  You can raise an invoice by clicking 'sed payment request' (to the right of the item on your sold page) and the invoice will show all the items purchased from you by that buyer.  Edit the p&p, do not press reset and just send to review - if ok then issue to the buyer and the invoice should appear at checkout.
