payment cancel

I just bought an item there but the person I bought it from wants me to cancel the payment and then pay to another paypal account, is this safe plus is it common? The item I bought was a samsung galaxy s7 edge for 429.99. EDIT..  For some i cant reply to peoples comments lol, but anyway the person is posting the item on tuesday, his reason for wanting me to pay on another account is because he has trouble getting payments because his money gets held by paypal because he is new, he has 7 positve feedback ratings. Does this seem like a commen problem for new sellers? i remember having the same issues when i started on ebay.

No, don't do it. If you don't pay via the listing there will be no proof you've paid. This seller is trying to scam you.

If you pay into another account there will be no record of the payment on your sale. You will not get the phone, or your money back.

Did you pay by paypal ?

If so, I would go along with it and ask the seller to refund you. Then when you've got your money back buy a phone from someone else.
