I have a buyer returning 2 items as they ordered by mistake. I have no problem refunding the item but should I refund the outgoing postage as I can't get that back and it was not my fault the item is not damaged nor dose it differ from the description. The postage was almost as much as the item which is percentage wise a big loss to me .
You do have to pay everything the buyer paid initially, so yes, the outgoing postage.
Add any loss to the starting prices on other items you are going to list, so you are not out of pocket.
