i have been asked to pay extra charges to Northern Ireland after making a purchase ? there was a postage charge for the UK which i paid i gave my postcode when making the purchase nothing showed any extra charge also i do not see anywhere on the sellers site stating postage is for Uk mainland Only ?? thank you
Check the shipping method on the listing ... Couriers will usually add an additional charge for N.I. deliveries. Royal Mail charge exactly the same for delivery throughout the UK including Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland (BT Postcodes).
You can report the seller to ebay but they can't be forced to send the item. Obviously if they're not going to send without more postage they'll have to refund your money.
