no delivery

I purchased an amazon echo dot on 17  May 2021. Today, 18 June, still no delievry.  The seller is no longer a registered user since 14 Jan. How does an option to still be selling items after this date still appear on ebay? This is my first experience using ebay and I find it most discouraging. I tried submitting a claim for a refund in terms of the "money back guarantee", but I am then told there are no orders in my history. How is that possible?  I have the emails to show the conffirmed order. Trying to get a simple, customer care email address is impossible. This would have been a far preferable option than trying to negotiate one’s way through a minefield of dropdown selections, inappropriate automated responses and an AI system not attuned to the idiosyncrasies of the problem. 

 

I have lost my faith in ebay and cannot see myself using it again. I am also going to vigorously share this most disappointing expereince.
