late delivery marks

I have a buyer who bought a plate and then 2 minutes later sent a message saying that I would need to delay dispatch until after 17th Aug as she is away on holiday.

My concern is that to do this will instigate an automatic late delivery mark from Ebay.

Any advice?

I would send it Tracked and add the Tracking to Dispatch to cover yourself. Hopefully the Postie will hand it over to a neighbour. If your Buyer should leave Negative Feedback EBay should Remove it because the Buyer is asking for something you never offered in the first place.
