invalid item error when 'send offer to buyers'

Why do I get an jutterly useless, unhelpful 'invalid item' error when I 'send offer to buyers'???!

Listing gives me the option to contact watchers then blows me out... useless..

I'm  not sure if this is the answer,  but what device are you using?

Apps and phones throw up all sorts of glitches,  useless for running an eBay account smoothly.

If this is the case,  switch to a laptop / PC / browser to manage this,  hopefully this will help.

Tried various browsers.. still get the same useless **bleep**... Thought Ebay would be trying to help people sell (it charges enough) but obviously the spotty overpaid coders can't be arsed...

Not sure how any spots the coders have, none of us work for eBay here, but I do know that Google Chrome is eBay friendly, have you tried that one ? IE definitely not compatible.

I'm currently using Chrome without problem,
I have experienced the odd hiccup with eBay on firefox.

Tried it using Opera browser, which I believe is Chrome based, but still rubbish

This offer does not give any details of WHAT listings this applies to. It may not apply to vehicles !!

I looked into this yesterday (I would never use it as watchers in many cases are not interested in buying, and would be like unsolicited mail, junk mail through the letterbox) and as I only have Auctions it does not seem to apply

If it doesn't apply to some categories (why shouldn't it?!) why is the option visible!? That really would be amateurish coding...
