Did you mean:

increase in winning bidders not paying

HI

Anyone else experincing this  ? Seems like I'm dealing with more and more winning bidders now not paying for the item they win

Is Ebay going to do anythign about this? I feel powerless as a seller ( I  have two accounts ) as can't leave any negative feedback although the bidder can

Time to look for other selling sites I think - would be interested to hear from other sellers on this issue

Thanks

"Is Ebay going to do anythign about this?"

Yes, as usual it is up to the seller to use the tools provided:-

Unpaid Case to get a refund of selling fee, and give Non Payer a Strike.

Block Bidders who fail to pay. In fact block any bidder who causes any problems.

Block any Bidder with 2 or more unaid strikes.

If you have a non payer you open a non payment dispute at the bottom of the page under Resolution Centre.

You can open one after 2 days and close after another 4 days.

You get your final value fees back the non payer gets a strike and neither of you can leave feedback.

If you dont do this then ebay do not know you did not get paid and you have to pay the fees.

You have 32 days to open a dispute

Strike is better than any feedback and two or more and they would not be able to buy off many sellers

Put them on your blocked bidders list and then go back and Block bidders with strikes

It does not stop them all but helps

For all non payers use the most effective route,  that is, is to   open an unpaid item case in the resolution Centre,  close it on day 5,  your seller fee is refunded,  and the buyer gets a non payment strike.  Two strikes,  and they cannot buy from the majority of sellers on eBay for 12 months.

Block all non payers,  so they do not return and wreck any more of your sales.

Negative  for buyers is not allowed,  it is a policy violation.  Bears no help to anyone,  sellers  selling BIN items have no time to read it, but the above does have effect,  strikes do prevent these serial  non payers from buying.
