Please can someone explain to me how to buy something with click and collect. The ebay help says after finding an item with click and collect to "choose select a store". I can't see "select a store" anywhere. I seem to remember, before I ever tried to use click and collect, that under the postage tab on the item listing, there was a drop down for argos stores. None of the items I've looked at which have click and collect in the listing have the argos drop down. I know there's a lot of help messages with people saying click and collect has been added to their listing without their knowledge, so I wonder if that's the problem - all the items I've tested have had click and collect added without the seller's knowledge. I don't want to click the 'buy it now' button and find there's no option for click and collect on the other side - but is that how it works?
The sellers choose to have Click and Collect on their listings or not as they wish
They can opt in or out.
Just checked items I have on Click and collect and it says Choose store on checkout.
I have never bought an item with click and collect but it does sound as if you choose when you go to pay.

Does not seem to tell you before you buy what shops/collection points are available.
Option to pick store only shows on payment page.
A lot of Argos stores no longer provide service, small convenience stores (e.g. Londis) now allow it.
However if you read these page often, lots of complaints with C&C, I would never use it.
Click & Collect is not something a buyer chooses
Click & Collect is only available where it is offered by a seller
Where Click & Collect is offered the option will appear under postage options
If a seller is not offering Click & Collect then it is not available
There is a minimum value for C&C through Argos

Where C&C is offered it appears on the advert below the price in the postage option as "collection"
The list of stores only appears at checkout for you to select
