eBay taken higher fees than stated.

I recently told a phone on eBay. Accepted an offer for £170 and have received £134 in my account. The fees eBay stated were £22 which I though was high enough. But it seems I was miss led as this is not what's been taken. I feel very disappointed in eBay as I would not of paid almost £40 on a £170 sell when I had the CHOICE to use PayPal. The fees are deceiving and misleading. Has anybody else experienced similar?

The ebay managed payments work out at just slightly less that ebay fees + paypal fees so that is not the problem.

I can not see the item.

If the item sold for £170 then you are right it would be @ 12.8% which is £21.76 + 30p so approx £22

Did you add any upgrades like a reserve to the basic free listing.

You should be able to see the fees on the SEller Hub under Account Summary

That should tell you exactly what you are paying for
