eBay reserve?

Hi

I was given a 3 free items to sell...I have never sold before, I have been trying to sell a bag (there seemed to be a reserved set for £50) which the bag will not sell for as its too much, I tried to change it, it wouldn't allow me to...auctioned finished yesterday 'no sale' due to high reserve...I relisted it again and was given the option this time to turn off reserve which I done so, to find it had gone back on again....very frustrating as not fair for the customers and hopeless for me selling my item!

Please could somebody help me as to you this is happening?

Many thanks becky

You must have added reserve by mistake [costing you £2] as it is certainly not a default.  All is well now.  You have a bid.

In my view [and that of many] reserves are not a good idea as they cost 4% with a minimum of £50 sale price.  Better to simply start at what you want [as you have done].  happy selling!  As a new seller you "may" be subject to a hold on money of "up to 21 days".  Your money will be released on proof of delivery [so tracked postage is wise]
