Dear eBay Community
I made collection arrangements with the seller, paid via PayPal but didn't receive the 6-digit code or QR code needed to confirm when the item is collected. I am not local so, to comply with COVID restrictions, I have arranged for collection tomorrow by a local courier. Could it be that ebay is not issuing a collection code because I'm not local?
The seller hasn't received payment and will probably need the code to prove collection has taken place.
Any ideas how to get the codes?

The code is only for use with the app. Not everyone uses the app. The seller can just mark as dispatched in the usual way via More Actions, on right of item on their sold page.
