cheep junk adjustable spectacles

hallo. i purchased one of these items.  the frame and lense quality is none existant .i have posted them back and said i will accept the purchase price and forgo the postage paid.  i have 100% feedback and want to keep it that way so my question is ,                                   if there seems 2 b no agreement with the seller can i close the claim for a refund then close the purchase in the usual manner with comments and stars to protect my feedback. many thanks  h  a  n  d

Various points...

IF these glasses are prescription glasses then they are banned on Ebay and should not be listed.   

Have you opened a NOT AS DESCRIBED case?    If yes then why not just stick with it to get a refund?

if you open a case and then subsequently get a refund you can still leave appropriate feedback for the seller.

IF you close the case early then you should still be able to leave feedback BUT saying that Ebay MAY remove it as in theory the seller won the case.  Also in these circumstances you only get one shot at a case with Ebay so you cannot reopen the case if you change your mind.    You can only open another case if you open one for not received......receive the item and it turns out to be not as described. 

Not sure what you mean by protecting your account by leaving feedback.....sellers are not allowed to leave buyers negative feedback and do not have the option to do so.   IF they leave negative comments on a positive then Ebay should remove it.
