Withdrawing bid

I bidded on item and wanted to withdraw bid whilst i was doing this a message came up saying increase bid so i thought i had been outbid consequently i won the item that i didnt want £80 i contacted seller several times to apologise but received no reply i am reletively new to bidding and now im being harrassed for payment which is distressing what can i do its a company selling lots of furniture and i feel bad for them plse help

No one can force you to proceed.   The seller will probably do an Unpaid Item case to get their selling fee back from ebay.   That will put a (hidden) non-payment strike on your account.  One won't have any affect as long as you don't get any more
