Why is my Watch List frozen?

Recently I got a message saying my Watch List was full and therefore I couldn't save any more items.  OK, I've had that before, so I deleted some 20-odd old items (days ago!),  but my Watch List is STILL 'frozen' and any further attempt to add an item to it still results in the message "Watch List Full" (whereas previously deleting old items had solved this problem).

My other "Lists" are still working normally (so I've created a "Temporary" list to be going on with!), but WHY is this happening and does anyone know how to resolve it?!  I've tried cleaning out cookies on my PC, but without success.

PS:  Didn't I recently hear something about the capacity of the Watch List being increased (from 300 items to 400?)?

2½ months after posting this (and for which I received no responses!), suddenly and magically, my "Watch List" has started working again! What the ****?!
