What to do when a seller is blatantly lying to you?

Ebay's problem resolution system is blatantly rubbish in certain situations.

I paid more that two hundred pounds to get a bracelet delivered, after a week the seller had not issued any delivery details, had not even sent the item.  So I contacted him and almost immediatel;y he replied that the item was with India Post for delivery to me - even gave me a tracking number.

I checked tracking number with India Post for several days and was informed that the package was not yet in their hands.

Contacted seller again and this time he told me that the package was in fact with DHL Express!  New tracking number.

Have checked DHL Express and they tell me that they don't yet have the package either!  But of course the seller has told ebay the tracking details so ebay tells me to wait until 7th July before opening a case!  This seller is blatantly lying through his teeth and ebay will do absolutely nothing.

Ebay is great for fraudulent sellers!

All you can do is to open a not received case one day after the last estimated delivery date -

Also. when the item arrives in UK it could be held up in customs requiring you to pay import charges.

What was the estimated date of delivery when you bought the item? That dictates when you can open a case for item not received.
