It has not happened....it is being rolled out in the USA

We have been told it will be a few years before ity changes in the UK

Paypal will still be an option as a payment choice on eBay

The new company/system being offered is currently not inspiring sellers with confidence as it may end up more expensive for sellers (and possibly therefore buyers)....it is also unclear how/when sellers will receive payments or just what impact it will have on the Money Back Guarantee...

If sellers worst fears are realised I suspect there may be a bit of an exodus

Because it has not happened - yet.

This is an American report. It clearly says that Paypal will remain an option for several years.

It's not happening yet. See below for what's known so far:

The fact that eBay's shares rose 15% probably confirms that this is yet another money-making scheme by eBay. My guess is that the "more integrated checkout experience for buyers" will mean another pay day for eBay.

Be prepared for chaos when the change actually happens. I for one do not want to have to offer the proposed new company as I am sure it will cost sellers more.
