Hello. If an avert say's 'Viewing recomended' or words such as that, why can't I go and view the item? Really can't get my head around this
Seller's really shouldn't be including wording like that in their listings.
There was a time when it was 'allowed' in that sellers and buyers could exchange contact details to arrange a viewing whilst the listing was still live.
However it was very easy for the buyer to hand over the cash there and then and the seller would cancel the listing meaning ebay would miss out on their fee for finding the seller a buyer.
So now the exchange of contact details can only be made once a listing has ended with a winning bidder/buyer.
Ads that are exempt from this is classified ads as the seller pays upfront fees.
