Suddenly receiving only limited search results

For no apparent reason (from this evening) when I search for something I receive only a limited number of results, something in the region of 4.6 adverts. This happens even when I search for something as broad as 'screwdriver sets' for which I would expect to receive hundreds if not thousands of hits.

I have been through all the search filters and can see nothing there that would do this. Why is it suddenly happening?

It's seems to be the latest glitch,  others are reporting it too.

As with all glitches just a matter of time for it to ' heal' itself and go back to normal.
