Sold in error

Put a job lot on eBay with starting price of £0.99. Was supposed to end in 2 days. Did notice there was a buy it now on listing but no amount so ignored it

Today it sold 2 days early for £0.99. I am sure I posted as an auction item.

Have cancelled sale as 7 of 8 items were designer labels and I'm sorry but not prepared to sell for 99p.

Has anyone had anything similar happen .. and what might consequences be?

The consequence of failing to honour a deal is likely to be bad feedback and eBay will not lift a finger to help you unless the comment itself breaches policy.
