Seller sent faulty goods.
Clearly and demonstrably faulty.
I selected 'returm item' in my account.
Seller accepted return.
Seller dispatches from the UK.

<seller> let us know that they can't buy a return postage label for you to use for <item>..
The seller is still responsible for return postage costs, so contact them to arrange return postage.

The 'Offical' ebay email asks me to return the goods (sold from the UK) to Australia.
The seller has contacted me through ebay asking for the goods to be sent to a UK address.
The seller wants me to pay for return.
I have told the seller that if I need to pay for the return then I no longer want a replacement item, I will have a refund instead.
I'm guessing the seller is a far Eastern importer as the goods were shipped after they we due to arrive.
So, do I need to contact Ebay or am I being paranoid?
**PeaseBlossom* thanks for the lightning fast reply - I'll let the seller know thats what I intend to do and wait the eight days. Its not a huge amount of money (£26), I'd be unhappy to loose it but I'd be even more unhappy if I loose even more by paying for its return!
