Seller saying "Payment Pending"

Hi, 

I bought an item last night and the seller sent me a message this morning stating that they received a message from Paypal stating payment is pending at my end. I had a look at my Paypal account and there is nothing about payment pending and it just states purchased. 

I informed the seller and they said they contacted eBay/Paypal and that Paypal would contact me about this, but I haven't recieved any messages. Is this suspicious?

Payment Pending is usually a Problem with the Seller 's Account not the Buyers. Ask him to check that the Listing has the same Email Address as his PayPal Registered Address.

Thanks, apparently they have now received a message stating that they should receive payment within 24 hours. All sounds a bit strange, as I haven't experienced this issue before.

If they are a New Seller or not Sold anything for Months they may have had to Verify that they are the Account Holder. A lot of Dormant Accounts get Hacked and all New Sellers have to Verify their Details.
