I had a couple of bad months when I was ill where I sold stuff off ebay and forgot to remove the items from Ebay. When they sold I had to refund the customers and explain to them that I was out of stock. Because of this Ebay has rated me as below standard. Despite the fact that I have had no returns or cancellations for 5 months, Ebay continues to send me a report every month telling me I must show an improvement or they will restrict me permanently. They do not seem to acknowledge that I have shown improvements. I haqve had 225 feedbacks in the past 12 months and all were positive except one neutral which was due to late delivery during lockdown. Although I had proof of posting on due date I didnt have a tracking number so Ebay would not remove the feed back. My point is I am a good ebayer but am getting fed up with the threats from ebay that they may close my account, at the moment I feel like they can go ahead as they are causing me stress. Has anyone else had this problem and how long does it take before I will be in their "good books" again. Thanks in advance for any advice.
With over 500 listings and many new items for sale then upgrading your account to a business account may be the answer as this link explains,eBay Business Accounts | UK Seller Centre
Another problem you have is that you are a business seller trading as a private seller in violation of eBay rules and the law.
