Seller Defect Level

I have sold 184 items in the past 6 months and I have had to cancel 6 transations down which has left me with a defect seller ratio of 3.26%
What I would like to know is how do I get my Seller Level back to Above Average again and if it is to sell lots of items how many would I have to sell to get back into the Above Average category again.

Personally I dont think 1 item per month is bad results although could be better of course, the rules Ebay puts on us as sellers really does not help us the seller at all.

I am trying to appeal against some of the defects as they call them but they are not listening so I also wonder should I just close this account and open a new one.

Seems a shame with 100% feedback I have and many years with them but hey-ho if they aint going to help me then maybe I should help myself.
