I PAID SPECIAL DELIVERY FOR AN ITEM TO ARRIVE SPEEDILY PAYING £8.99 - THE ITEM WAS 3 - 4 DAYS LATE AND ARRIVED ONLY WITH A 2ND CLASS STAMP ON

I CONTACTED THE SELLER ON 30 MAY TO REQUEST A REFUND FOR THE OVERPAID POST AND THEIR NOT HONOURING THE SPECIAL DELIVERY PAYMENT/REQUEST - SELLER HAS NOT REPLIED OR REFUNDED THE OVERPAID POST - SO I NEED TO RAISE A DISPUTE BUT ALL EBAY DISPUTES DON'T QUITE COVER THIS

I'm afraid you are correct that eBay doesn't cover this situation.

 

All you can do is try to resolve the situation with the seller, then according to their response reflect your experience when leaving feedback and detailed deller ratings.

 

If you're going to leave negative feedback for bad experiences, PLEASE be fair and also leave positive feedback for sellers who deserve it. You haven't done this for over a year, even for sellers who have left it for you. Don't become one of those awful eBayers who only ever leaves feedback to complain.
