Rude seller

Hi I’ve recently placed a bid on an item and it has now ended, I have politely asked the seller if she could cancel as I’ve already purchased the same thing, and the seller was rude about it saying “that it’s not my problem, if you don’t pay I’ll report you” I’ve even apologised to the seller and just think no one should ever be treated the way I was.

look at it from their point of view,

you've ruined their sale, and cost them fees, why should they agree to cancel?

they have every right to complete a non payment case against you to get their fees refunded,

I totally get where you are coming from but I have tried many times over the past few days to cancel and I didn’t get a reply from the seller.

they don't have to agree to cancel

and they clearly don't want to use the cancel option and are going to use the unpaid item option,

No excuse to be rude, however you ruined their listing by refusing to pay.

Seller can open unpaid against you, if you don't pay within 4 days, case will close & you get strike, 

2 of these in 12 months can restrict your buying.
