Refunds

Hi   I have made several attempts to refund a buyer, spoke to ebay on telephone, chatted online, they told me several ways of doing it, spend hours going over and over the same issue still cannot get the refund to go through

Refunds have to be made through a case. Buyer must open a Not As Described or Not Received Case or you as seller open a Cancellation  case.

 

I can't imagine how something so simple cannot be answered by CS, you should have asked here in the first case.  I can only think they have no practical knowledge of how ebay works.

 

Refunds made ouside a case and you the seller do not get the selling fee refunded but you would get a Defect.
