Refunding a Customer

Hello everyone. I have sent a product to a customer and for a weird reason it didn't arrive. He ordered it a long time ago. As a good willing, I was offering him a refund but I cant give him the refund. I tried to explain to him yesterday how to do it, and he was giving up and say keep the money. I work on honesty and trust and this is not how I want to be as a customer, pay my precious money and don't get my items, so please help me how do I give him a refund? I was trying to talk with eBay and they told me what to do but I cant get into the All Transaction area , maybe because of moving to Payoneer while I didn't finish all the process of moving?
Thank you and have a great day!

A more exact date would have helped. If "a long time ago" is more than about 30 days it's likely to be too late to cancel the sale, or for the buyer to use eBay's money back guarantee to claim a refund. (Or for you to get any refund of your selling fee.)

How you refund him is up to you now. EBay won't be involved. You could send him a PayPal payment, or even an old fashioned cheque.
