Postage Cost - Confusion!

I went to bid on a bag earlier this evening, postage cost was £3.50. The seller is in the UK, as am I. But when reviewing the bid it then said postage would be £24! This has just happened again when I was going to bid on 2 balls of wool. 

I haven't bidded on anything on here for ages so I'm completely clueless, what is going on??

Update: I tried the Web version and it didn't happen on there.. I am baffled!

Global Shipping used and extra shipping fees/Import taxes are included in that price for overseas shipment  ...

Even with items shown as located within the UK,  If Buyer and/or Seller is Based or Registered anywhere outside the UK, additional Import 20% Tax is applied.

I'm still confused, this isn't the case with buy it now items. It's happening on every auction item I try to bid on.

check your post to location on the search results page, it sounds like it has been changed to a different country
